Phone services at the Hamakua District Police Station are back in operation.

Telephone service at the Hamakua District Police Station remains out of service. An advisory was sent just before 2 p.m. Tuesday.

The Hawai’i Police Department says those in the area who are in need of police service should contact the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311.

Those experiencing an emergency should call 911.

Messages for Hamakua police officers can be left by calling the North Hilo District police station in Laupahoehoe at 962-2120.
