Along the Daniel K. Inouye Highway, headed westbound between Old Saddle Road and Mamalahoa Highway, a single lane closure will be in effect beginning Tuesday and lasting through Friday. The partial closure is necessary to make roadway safety improvements and will be conducted between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. During the closure, the westbound lane will be shifted to the eastbound lane and one lane of traffic will be open in each direction.

Continuous activity on Umauma Bridge in Hakalau will cause alternating lane closures near mile marker 16 on Highway 19 to remain on a seven-day-a-week, twenty-four-hour schedule as bridge rehabilitation work is underway. Speed on the bridge is reduced to 20 miles per hour.
