Easter Seals Hawai’i will received a sizeable donation from HFS Federal Credit Union following a month-long donation raising period.

Members and staff raised over $28,000 across HFS FCU’s six Big Island locations in support of the local Easter Seals organization, whose mission is to provide family-centered services to empower people with disabilities or special needs to achieve their goals and live independent, fulfilling lives.

“HFS FCU would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude for the generosity of our members and staff who have helped to raise this substantial donation,” said Marketing Coordinator Ashley De Mattos.

The credit union operates six location across the Big Island, serving 45,000 members as the largest credit union on the island with locations in Hilo, Kea’au, Kona, and Waimea.
