The Department of Land and Natural Resources Division of Conservation and Resources Enforcement, known as DOCARE, is currently experiencing a phone outage to its Big Island telephone lines.
Lines affected by the outage include 974-6207 and 974-6208. The lines are unable to receive calls.
Those who need to need to contact DOCARE for conservation and resource concerns should instead call 974-6209.
DLNR officials are unsure of how long the main number will be out of operation.
