KKCC to Host Community Business Workshop

A public business-related workshop is scheduled to be held by the Kona-Kohala Chamber of Commerce on Thursday, June 25.

The workshop will be held at the Hawai’i Community Federal Credit Union’s Kaloko Branch from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Porter and Monik DeVries of DeVries & Associates, P.C. will present “The Seven Ways Businesses Profit from Having General Counsel.” Business basics, which include how to protect your assets and seize new opportunities for eliminating unnecessary liabilities and risks, will be discussed during the Thursday course.

A question and answer period will follow, as well as a networking session, if time permits.

All attendees will be provided with refreshments and handouts.

Registration for KKCC members is $15, while public registration is $25.
