Suspects Sought in Supermarket Warehouse Burglary

The Hawai`i Police Department is investigating a burglary that occurred at a Hilo supermarket on Sunday, May 17.

Around 1:35 a.m., two unidentified men broke into the warehouse of the supermarket located on the 200 block of Kino`ole Street and stole alcohol and other beverages.

The men, who were recorded on surveillance cameras, are described as being in their mid-teens and early 20s.  Both were slim in build and wearing dark shorts and light-colored hooded sweatshirts.

Anyone with information about the incident or the identity of the suspects is asked to call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311.
