The Paradise Roller Girls Hawaiian HoneyBadgers will take on Oahu’s Pacific Roller Derby Hulagans on Saturday, May 16 at the Afook-Chinen Civic Auditorium. PRG is a women’s Flat Track Derby Association league that is based in Hilo.

PRG’s is a “comradery of diverse skaters of all ages and backgrounds whose mission is to promote a healthy and athletic lifestyle who serves in our community through the alternative sport of roller derby.”

A concession is available throughout the day, but strollers, coolers, and beverage containers will not be allowed inside the doors.

Tickets cost $5, and kids under the age of five are free. They can be purchased from any derby girl, at Kadota Liquor’s, Lucy’s Taqueria, Mt. View Video, Jungle Love, CD Wizard, or online at the Paradise Roller Girls website. Tickets will also be sold at the door. Those who have a valid military ID will be free in celebration of Military Appreciation Night.
