The Hawai’i Songwriting Festival is just around the corner. Top songwriters from around the country will come together in June at the Hapuna Prince Beach Hotel.

On June 11, 12 and 13, festival attendees will spend their days and evenings learning from the best in the music business. Professionals who have written or co-written songs for huge musical names like Will.i.Am, Tim McGraw, Taylor Swift, and Jimmy Buffett, will be in attendance.

Small workshops, panel discussion, open mic performances, and speed mentoring sessions will occur throughout the three day event. Attendees will be provided with the information they need to succeed in the craft and business of songwriting.

Two public concerts will highlight the second and third day of events. On June 12 at 7 p.m., “Island Night” featuring John Cruz, Henry Kapono, Nathan Aweau, John Keawe, Kainani Kahaunaele, and others will perform. The following day at 7 p.m., “Hit Makers” will feature a roster of hit songwriters who will perform and share stories about their hit songs. Both performances will take place at the Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel Ballroom.
