United States Army officials have announced that military convoys will travel the roads between Pohakuloa Training Area and Kawaihae Harbor on April 10 and April 13 between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. each day.

The Oahu-based service members will use the following roads: Daniel K. Inouye Highway, Mamalahoa Highway, Waikoloa Road, Queen Kaahumanu Highway, and Akoni Pule Corridor. During the convoy, officers with the Hawai’i Police Department will provide support.

Efforts to coordinate the activity have been conducted between the PTA Department of Army police, local authorities, and military units.

Motorists driving along the roadways during the scheduled times are advised to use caution and remain alert.
