HELCO will be inspecting all of its major overhead power lines on the Big Island by helicopter from Monday, March 30 through Thursday, April 2, between 7:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Slow and low flying helicopters may cause temporary noise disturbances during the inspections. HELCO apologizes for any inconvenience and would like to thank the public for their cooperation and understanding.
The inspections are part of an overall effort to improve system reliability. Times and routes will be subject to weather conditions.
