Weekend Convoy will Travel Between PTA and Kawaihae

A convoy of Oahu-based service members will travel the roads between Pohakuloa Training Area and Kawaihae Harbor beginning Saturday, March 21 and lasting through Sunday March 22. The convoy will travel between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. each day.

Roads used during the convoy include Daniel K. Inouye Highway, Mamalahoa Highway, Waikoloa Road, Queen Kaahumanu Highway, and Akoni Pule Corridor. Military police will support the convoy.

The activity is part of unit training and readiness, and is supported through close coordination of the PTA Department of Army Police, local authorities, and military units.

Motorists driving along the roadways at the scheduled times are urged to use caution and remain alert.
