Kids ages 2-11 can join in a free Easter egg hunt this year at Botanical World Adventures in Hakalau, north of Hilo. The hunt will be held on Saturday April 4 and Sunday April 5, beginning at 10 a.m. each day.
Over 2,000 plastic eggs will be hidden to claim for candy or prizes. Giveaways will include free zip line tours and a Segway rainforest tour. Admission to the event is free for participating kids and families.
A morning Easter service will be held by the Hilo Coast United Church of Christ on Sunday from 6 – 6:45 a.m at the Kamae’e Falls lookout.
