The University of Hawai’i at Hilo athletic department announced Thursday that it will move one of its three remaining home doubleheaders from its on-campus gymnasium to the Afook-Chinen Civic Auditorium.

All three remaining home dates are scheduled for next week. On Feb. 24, the Vulcans’ men’s and women’s basketball teams will host Academy of Art at the UH-Hilo Gymnasium. It is being designated as First Hawaiian Bank night in recognition of the longtime corporate sponsor.

The next home twinbill, scheduled two days later against Holy Names, is moving moved down the road to the Civic. Promotional plans are still being finalized.

On Feb. 28, the Vulcans will again take the court at the Civic to play their final home game of the season against Dominican University. This set of games was originally scheduled to be played at the Civic as part of a five-game Saturday package announced before the season started.
