The Hawai’i Police Department has arrested a sixth suspect in connection to a four month crime spree.
Stephen Kaleo Graham, 26, was charged with 40 offenses Monday morning following his Saturday arrest on a bench warrant for contempt of court at OTEC Beach in Kailua-Kona.
Graham was taken by police to the Kona police cellblock while detectives from the Area II Criminal Investigations Section investigated a variety of other offenses.
On Monday morning at 11 a.m., Graham was charged with four counts of burglary, seven counts of unauthorized control of a propelled vehicle, five counts of unauthorized entry of a motor vehicle, eight counts of theft, three counts of terroristic threatening, three counts of theft/forgery of a credit card, three counts of fraudulent use of a credit card, two counts of unauthorized possession of personal confidential information, two counts of resisting an order to stop, and one count each of criminal property damage, reckless endangering and speeding.

Bail for Graham’s offenses was set at $384,250. He continues to remain in the cellblock pending his initial court appearance Tuesday.
Between Oct. 7 and Jan. 16, a crime spree from South Kohala to Ka’u occurred. The crimes included commercial burglaries, auto thefts, car break-ins, and the theft and fraudulent use of credit cards.
Police have arrested five other individuals and charged with offenses in connection to the crimes.
