Military Convoy Scheduled for Saturday

A military convoy of Oahu-based service members is scheduled to travel the roads between Pohakuloa Training Area and Kawaihae Harbor on Dec. 13.

According to the United State Army Garrison, the convoy will travel between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. and use Daniel K. Inouye Highway, Mamalahoa Highway, Waikoloa Road, Queen Kaahumanu Highway and Akoni Pule Corridor.

The PTA Department of Army police is working in close contact with local authorities and military units to coordinate the convoy in support of unit training and readiness.

Military police will accompany the convoys. Motorists are advised to drive with caution in these areas.
