USPS Releases Hawai’i Specific Holiday Shipping Dates

The United States Postal Service has released Hawai’i specific shipping dates so that holiday packages will arrive to their destinations on time for Christmas on Dec. 25.

Timetables can be found below. It is important to note that the cutoff times for each day can vary between post offices. It is best to check with your local post office for its specific cutoff time.

From Hawai’i to:

U.S. Mainland, First Class & Priority Mail: Dec. 19/Priority Express Mail: Dec. 20

Hawai’i, First Class & Priority Mail: Dec. 22/Priority Express Mail: Dec. 23

Guam & Saipan, First Class & Priority Mail: Dec. 15/Priority Express Mail: Dec. 20

American Samoa, First Class & Priority Mail: Dec. 12/Priority Express Mail: Dec. 19

Military APOs & FPOs, First Class & Priority Mail: Dec. 8/Priority Express Mail: Dec. 15

Although none of the Big Island post offices are participating in extended hour services, both the Hilo and Kailua-Kona main post offices have Self-Service Ship & Mailing Centers.

The postal kiosks allow customers to purchase stamps, print, and pay for postage through the machine without needing to stand in line. These self-service kiosks are located in the lobby of the post office and are available 24/7.
