A 15-year-old boy has been arrested in connection to a number of “Peeping Tom” incidents in the Waikoloa Village area.

According to the Hawai’i Police Department, an undisclosed amount of incidents happened between the months of June and October. Initially, police received reports of either a male teenager or young adult peering through windows.

An investigation done by Community Policing officers led to the Wednesday morning arrest of the 15-year-old. Because the suspect is a minor, his identity will not be released.

The boy was arrested on suspicion of fourth-degree sexual assault. He has been released to his parents while South Kohala officers investigate additional incidents.
