Ho’okena Man Wanted for Violating Probation

The Hawai’i Police Department says it is looking for a man who is not only wanted on a bench warrant, but is also sought after for questioning in an abuse case.

Matthew Alani, 29, of Ho’okena is wanted on a $20,000 bench warrant for violating terms of his probation.

Alani is described as 5-foot-7 and 150 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He may have a goatee. He has a number of tattoos across his body, including “Ho’okena,” which is inked across his chest.

Anyone with information on Alani’s whereabouts should call the HPD non-emergency line at 935-3311. Anonymous tips may be called into the Crime Stoppers hotline at 961-8300.
