The County of Hawai’i’s Department of Water Supply will temporarily turn off water along a portion of Waianuenue Ave. Saturday for a waterline connection.
The shut-off will take place between 8:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. along the Puna side of Waianuenue Ave. from the Arc of Hilo building to the connecting side road just above of it.
The waterline connection is part of the Arc of Hilo’s Site Improvement Project.
The DWS says that customers in the area can expect turbid and/or discolored water when service resumes. Crews will flush and clean the waterlines as service is restored.
