Haili Christian School Burglarized Over the Weekend

A burglary that happened over the weekend is being investigated by the Hawai’i Police Department.

According to a HPD release, Haili Christian School, located at 190 Ululani Street in Hilo, was broken into over the weekend. Unknown individuals entered the school sometime between 1:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 10 and 4:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 12.

Several classrooms at the private school were entered and items were removed, including a Canon camera and lenses, two Kamaka ukuleles, another ukulele imprinted with foreign words, a red HD web camera, a bible, and cash.

Police ask that anyone with information about the case or the identity of the burglars call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311 or Office Wayne Kenison at 961-2213.
