The Hawaii Island HIV/AIDS Foundation will host a 2-mile walk around Liliʻuokalani Gardens in Hilo Saturday to raise money and awareness for those living with and affected by HIV/AIDS.

There is no registration fee for the Foundation’s 3rd Annual Big Island AIDS Walk.

However participants are encouraged to register as individual walkers or with a team that they may join or create themselves, said a release for the event. Anyone raising more than $100 receives a commemorative AIDS Walk t-shirt.

Proceeds benefit HIV Care Services, Prevention Programs, and HIV & Hep C testing on the Big Island.
