A Kona man arrested following last week’s stabbing accident in Kailua-Kona was charged Saturday with five offenses.

Michael Dalton, 43, was arrested several minutes after police responded Thursday night to a report of two men receiving lacerations across the street from the Coconut Grove shopping center at the intersection of Ali`i Drive and Kahakai Road.

Dalton was charged with kidnapping, first-degree terroristic threatening, harassment and two counts of assault.

His bail was set at $11,250.

The victims were taken to Kona Community Hospital where they were treated and released.
