I love these local wack jobs!!!!! I don’t miss a chance to come to this sight and watch these idiots who think they still live in a world removed from the modern day. But its great for a laugh. Keep acting a fool…..keep getting arrested….so I can come here and eat breakfast and watch your sorry life go down the drain. I didn’t know when I moved here I would get the extra bonus of living around so many clueless dum$as$es ……oh Mahalo :)

  • Jose Martinez

to bad this had to happen.this diver was getting food for his ohana, this boat must have come to close to where he was working.its one thing for the tour boats, who have a lot of people who will pay for their fun,but local divers, don’t have that opportunity,so they must harvest what AKUA gives them.lets try to get along.tour boats,if you see local divers trying to feed their families, just move to another spot, the whole coast is beautiful under water.

  • Localboi

I love these local whack jobs??? Badlanding. I’m tired of You mouthing off on topics you are clueless about. You must be 1 of the many ignorant newcomers to hawaii. The boat captain nearly killed someone that day. He has no respect for the Local divers who are just trying to collect food for the table for their families. Not all, but majority of these boat captains only care about getting the customers to the dive spots as quickly as possible. He actually should lose his captains license for that. I know Cheyenne and he is a really nice family man. The boat captain got what he deserved, cracks. I really hope the boat captain loses his license.

    • Badlanding

” The boat captain got what he deserved”? Very nice. And I am ignorant? And just what would it be I am ignorant of? The endless excuses given for the pathetic behavior of a large group of the local population of these islands? There is a legal system in THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh did you forget that your Ohana is sovereign land of the US and in this country you live in it is illegal to assault other people. Your uneducated in the ways of the world Localboi so I am gonna break it down for you to the lowest common denominator. Follow the law or go to jail!
The entire Haole system is designed to destroy you life as soon as you break these laws. Do you realize what happens to you in the US when you are convicted of a serious crime? No school loans, and any job at all can find out what you have been charged with by clicking buttons on a laptop. So who hires you? How do you get a education? It follows you forever!
If you don’t like the way the world works in the United States…..you can leave! You can renounce your citizenship and find a place that is more suitable to your world view.
This is the US worldview shared by successful Americans is very simple. I am sure even you can focus long enough to figure this one out:) It doesn’t matter what color you are. It doesn’t matter how tall, fat, short you may be. The only color that matters is GREEN! The language of US and really the entire world is MONEY! I know it sucks but its true. Look around, read a paper. Watch the high rises going up in Honolulu. Building codes being ignored. Schools that can’t even get AC for students. Decades of shocking corruption at the state levels.
So next time your ready to hand out your “cracks” try to remember this. When your convicted of felony assault. Which will prevent you from being hired in a professional field or ever hold a state license. When big money developers move next store and spike your homeowners cost out of your reach on your sorry a$$ salary you will be earning will make you miss your property tax payments so you lose your home to tax auctions or forclosure and your stuck paying rent with the rest of you suckers. But hey, at least you understand the “local way”. And you can keep handing out your cracks:)))

      • Goodlanding

Hey Badlanding, it appears that you seem to be a very knowledgeable person who seems to know a lot about Hawaii and the ways of the United States so, can I ask you one simply question?

How did Hawaii become a part of the United States of America?

        • Honokaa Chuck

When in your lifetime was it not part of the United States? I was a child in the islands before statehood myself, but even then it was a territory of the US.

Pretend to be blind to reality all you want, but Hawaii is part of the United States and has been for a long long time. Long before you came along…

          • Goodlanding

Hey Honokaa Chuck, you still haven’t answered my question.

Just because you have been told that Hawaii was and for years have been led to believe that it was please by alll means can you tell me how Hawaii LEGALLY become a part of the United States of America?

Let’s separate fact from fiction….I can, but can you?

          • Honokaa Chuck

I have answered your question. If you choose to be blind of reality and cherry pick your history around whatever it is you believe in contradiction to that reality, that’s your problem, not mine!

          • Goodlanding

            Honokaa Chuck,

You haven’t answered anything. instead all you have done is make excuses for your ignorance to our true history and your country’s illegal occupation. No problem here! The problem is with you and the fact that as an illegal occupier you, your country and your military will soon be DE-OCCUPYING our islands. Can’t Wait!!!

        • Goodlanding

          Hey Badlanding,

I an still awaiting your response?

How did Hawaii become a part of the United States of America?

  • traf

I think the handsome Gaspar embodies true ALOHA SPIRIT. We should all punch people in the face when we feel we’ve been wronged. The world would be a simpler, more better place if we did. Think about it!

  • Goodlanding

    Yoohoo Badlanding & Honokaa Chuck,

It is clear that you have lived here in the islands for a while now and because you claim to be an American you adamantly believe that you have the right to say and do as you please. The question is…..are you basing your comments on facts or are you simply repeating what you were being told or more importantly making these racist and uneducated comments due to your own ignorance or lack of knowledge regarding Hawaii’s true history?

Since you appear to be so educated I ask you again how and when did Hawaii LEGALLY become a part of the United States of America?

    I’m still waiting????????????

    • Honokaa Chuck

First of all you have ascribed to me by screen name making “racist” comments, and you sir are a provocative liar at best! Everyone can read what I have said here, and know I have not done anything of the sort other than try to point out the reality we all live in, that you dispute, that Hawaii is part of the United States! Oh well…

You haven’t invited anyone to an educated debate, you just invited them to have a taste of your hatred for anyone who doesn’t share your views, and the country you live in, that’s all.

    • Badlanding

Sorry I was off doing what people with a clue do…….make money. Ok so let me get you sorted out so I can get back to that. Hawaii became a state illegally. It was taken from a people to weak to keep it. The way it has been done for thousands of years my poor island bound friend. That is why after much much protesting, (that’s what people with no power do they protest) Bill Clinton issued an apology for the obvious illegal annexation of Hawaii. So the short version is a bunch of rich bad people corrupted the uneducated local population through religion and greed. Then proceeded to bring in what is basically slave labor to make more money, surprise right? Fill in the blanks where you like but I have read the history books written by authors with bias both for the islanders and not, and this is truth you can take away from it. Read this part closely!
True blood Hawaiians are a population of peoples who have been taken advantage of. I know this because its not the first time I have seen this. Try growing up next to a Native American Indian reservation. Try having friends from the inner city where the poor truly eat the poor to survive. Ever heard of the March of Tears? Trying reading a book about Native American history. Or the African slave trade, heard of that? These are people that were not strong enough to stop the greed of evil white business men. What the Hawaiians should thank whatever gods they worship is that the modernization of Hawaii occurred when it did. During a more civil time. Otherwise there would have been slavery, mass rape followed by genocide.
You mistake the cruel ways of the world for racisms. Look closer to home. There is a government program designed to get homes for Hawaiians. And the last time I heard people where waiting for years or decades to get a chance at a home. Just go read about it. However you should also take a look at the rich white guy who in recent years purchased almost the entire island of Lanai (just $500 million) not fair just reality.
The world is f$cked up and unfair. And the rich men are not done f$cking it up either. You should check out the Citizens United decision by your US supreme court. It allows big, rich companies buy politicians legally. Big companies like say, Dole fruit, just to keep it local. If you know what Sanford B. Dole did to Hawaii maybe you are not as dumb as I fear you may be? So in conclusion, Hawaii was conquered by greedy people both Hawaiian and Haole. So Bill Clinton your President issued and apology. That was done more than a couple of years ago. Go ahead, frame it. Stare at it every day as you drink your coffee. Its all Hawaiians will ever get. They apologized to the Indians, the Blacks, etc, etc. If I spend anymore time educating you I may have to charge you for my time, if would only be the AMERICAN thing to do. Good Luck, you will need it.

      • Goodlanding

        Badlanding,

You haven’t said anything I don’t already know about your corrupt
government and country you call America….”FART”!!! Just because you went around screwing other people doesn’t mean that you are going to get away with it here….you may think you did, but you have a rude awakening coming soon and even sooner then you think. It would be waste of my valuable time trying to educate a racist, brainwashed Americanized idiot like you so, instead I’ll let you drown in your stool of stupidity. For your information we are already in the International arena and because Hawaii is ILLEGALLY OCCUPIED my friend,,,,you are an ILLEGAL OCCUPIER and soon your A$$ will be outta here along with the rest of your Americanized idiots that the rest of the world hates and your days of being the bully of the block is almost over.

If you had any brains look at what your President said about the
situation in the Ukraine: “Russia is not violating the sovereignty and independence of Crimea, but they are also violating international law”!!! Why do you think the major networks switched everyone’s attention to the missing aircraft??? Because the United States has been doing the same thing to Hawaii for the past 121 years, the world has been exposed to the TRUTH and soon the United States Government, military and illegal population including your sorry A$$ will be DE-OCCUPYING our islands once and for all. DON’T BOTH ME WITH A RESPONSE….I ALREADY HEARD IT!!!

        • Badlanding

hahahahahahahahahahahaha…….OMG this is F$cking great. When was the last time American gave back a state? Anybody? But anyway I think I will hold on to all that Hawaiian land I bought legally when I showed up with all my cash and I guess time will tell. so I am moving on from this one to the lady arrested in Hilo with a bunch of meth so please follow me to the next big meany posts I am about to make, see you there……….you guys are hilarious. Mahalo

      • Goodlanding

        Badlanding,

La la la la la la, I have already heard your lame racist excuses and soon you are going to be eating your words. Let’s see what you have to say when the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), the International Criminal Court (ICC) and the International Court of Justice (ICJ) steps in. In know one thing for sure you Americanized Brainwashed Idiot and that is because you are an ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT you will be kicked out of these islands so, start packing!!! Aloha Oe…….and don’t come back!!!

        • tulebawa

Wow. I’m sorry but I agree with Badlanding on this one. Are you sure you live in Hawaii? Sound more like you’re living on Fantasy Island with Ricardo Motalban. “De plane, de plane!” I hate to tell you this, but the United States will never “de-occupy” the Islands. Ever. Period. It will never happen. But, let’s just say for arguments sake that you do get someone to listen to you and they take a vote on it. Do you think the citizens within the state would actually vote in favor of that nonsense? LOL, get real.
Just out of curiosity, how can anyone justify punching someone for any reason? What is this high school? Use your minds people and grow up. Think about what you say before you say it especially when you attempt to say it on behalf of an entire race. What embarrassing remarks.
On the other hand, I do enjoy reading your crazy points of view though. They are most amusing. Carry on please. : )

          • Hoonuiike

Mahalo ia ‘oe no kou mana’o. E “tulebawa”, “Think about what you say before you say it..”, ua wala’au ‘oe me he mea la o ‘oe ke po’o ‘o ‘Amelika. You are telling “Goodlanding” to think before he speaks “on behalf of an entire race.”, yet you stated that “the United States will never “de-occupy” the Islands. Ever. Period. It will never happen.” speaking on behalf of the entire country? E no’ono’o ‘oe ma mua o ka ho’opuka mana’o. (Think before you share your thoughts).

On the other hand, I do enjoy hypocritical comments. They are most amusing. Carry on please :)

  • Hoonuiike

Cheyenne reacted as necessary. Gathering food for his family and minding his own business, then a tour boat comes and puts his life at risk. Badlanding, there is no need to call anyone here in Hawaii “clueless dum$as$es” for YOU sir/maam, are no better. For one, do not misuse the word “Haole” as you clearly have no understanding as to what it truly means. It does not fit into the context of which you’ve used it and you really should touch up on your Hawaiian language as it is an official language of the state that you live in. Along with your misuse of Hawaiian vocabulary, please proof-read your comments before posting. If people here are clueless, then where are you from? because you are clearly unaware of the appropriate times/areas to use “an” instead of “a” as well as “your” rather than “you’re”, there is a difference and it is taught in all Hawaii schools curriculum, guess you lucked out. On another note, as I could go on for a while about your grammatical errors, your comment about those of us paying rent being “suckers” came off a bit offensive. Many of us work several jobs to support ourselves as well as our families and unfortunately, sometimes even that is not enough. “Keep acting a fool” and “keep getting arrested” are malevolent comments that one who lives here should not be making. Instead, why don’t you help our people instead of sitting aside and making fun of them. You obviously have no positive purpose of living here in Hawaii as it seems like you have no positive impact on this land and its residents whatsoever. Maybe you’re (see how I used “you’re” correctly?) just like those who were once considered “po’e haole”, in coming here just to TAKE. Badlanding and Honokaa Chuck, Hawaii is under illegal occupation by the U.S, and yes it has been this way since before I was born, however it does not make it any more “OK”. Look at what is happening in Ukraine, educate yourselves on the history of Hawaii, then compare the two. I’ll be waiting for your response(s). Mahalo.

  • Byron

I wonder if he had the flag and tube floating above him to let people know he was in the water

    • Hoonuiike

He usually does (all the times that I have seen him out diving), hopefully this time he did too.

  • ranger rick

There is a few videos of the assault ,everyone has cameras . The captain was very calm and listened to him for five minutes before he boarded the boat and threatened everyone. He was completely at fault

    • Hoonuiike

Where can we find these videos? I would like to see them for myself.
