The first St. Patrick’s Day Eve BBQ Fundraiser for the Friends of Hawai‘i Volcanoes National Park will be open to the public at Hilo Coffee Mill on Sunday, March 16, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The event at the Coffee Mill’s Mountain View location will feature a BBQ ribs and chicken lunch, live music and “surprise entertainment, ” said a release for the event. Door prizes include an overnight stay at the historic Volcano House, Blue Hawaiian Helicopter Circle of Fire & Waterfall tour for two, Body Glove Cruise for two, Umauma Zipline adventure for two, jewelry and art.
Tickets are $45, which includes the BBQ and entertainment; or $50, which also includes one beer or wine. Call 985-7373 or visit Friends of Hawai‘i Volcanoes National Park, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting Hawai’i Volcanoes National Park. Tickets will also be available at the door.
