UPDATE: Missing Opihikao Girl Located

Satyavati Dasi-Lazar, a 10-year-old girl reported missing earlier today, has been located unharmed in Pahoa.

Police said she was found in Opihikao by a Good Samaritan who transported her to Pahoa town.

Posted 4:14 p.m.:

Police are asking for the public’s help locating a 10-year-old girl missing in Opihikao in lower Puna.

Satyavati Dasi-Lazar was last seen around 10:30 a.m. today at Noni Healing LLC off Kamaili Road in Opihikao.

She was barefoot and wearing a white dress with blue and green flowers over a teal-colored skirt.

Police said the property is heavily wooded with several known lava tubes.

Dasi-Lazar is described as about 4-foot-6 with blue eyes, blond shoulder-length hair and stitches on her right knee.

Anyone with information on the missing child is asked to call the police department at 935-3311.
