Police have renewed their request for the public’s assistance locating two men missing in unrelated cases.

Robert Keawe Lopaka Ryder of Kailua-Kona has not been seen since being last contacted on Thanksgiving Day in 2013.

Ryder, 37, is 5-foot-10 and 150 pounds, with green eyes. He had short brown hair at the time.

Anyone with information on Ryder is asked to contact Det. Walter Ah Mow at 3267-4646, ext. 238, or [email protected].

The other missing man, 38-year-old Jonathan Riveira, was last seen at a Hawi home on Jan. 12. That afternoon, the Kohala man reportedly told a friend he was on his way to pick opihi at Pahoa Bay in North Kohala in an area known as Black Gate.

Riveira is described as 5-foot-9 and 145 pounds, with brown eyes and short black hair. Police said he has a medical condition that requires medication.

Anyone with information on either Riveira or Ryder can call the police department’s non-emergency number at 935-3311.
