A man arrested in connection with a Jan. 26 robbery involving a hatchet has been charged in that incident and another reported to have occurred the same day.

After police put out a press release asking for help in locating 23-year-old Kainoa Kahele-Bishop, a 48-year-old Ocean View man recognized him as the same person who had robbed him at South Point.

The man told police that he was fishing when he was confronted and threatened by Kahele-Bishop and then robbed of an undisclosed amount of money.

Police on Friday charged Kahele-Bishop with two counts of robbery, two counts of theft, terroristic threatening and unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle.

The other arrest stems from an incident reported to have occurred on South Point Road.

Trinety Crapser, 25, of Ocean View was charged in connection with the incident in which Crapser allegedly threatened a woman parked along South Point Road with a hatchet.
