The tennis courts at the Herbert Shipman Park in Keaau will be closed for nearly two weeks next month for maintenance.

The closure is needed to clean and pressure-wash the two courts’ playing surfaces.

It will be in effect beginning Monday, Feb. 3. The courts will be reopened on Saturday, Feb. 15.

Other outdoor tennis courts operated by the county will remain open during that period, including those at Lincoln and Mohouli parks in Hilo.
