Police have identified human remains found in Kona late last month as those of 51-year-old Lloyd Tiedeman.

Tiedeman’s remains were found Sept. 27 at a vacant lot off Ololi Street in Kailua-Kona.

As previously reported by police, an autopsy showed that he had died of natural causes.

Tiedeman had no permanent address, and police believed he may have been living at the vacant lot.

His remains were identified through the use of medical x-rays.
