Two Puna residents have been charged in connection with a burglary last week in Hawaiian Paradise Park.
An investigation of the Friday break-in at a home on 21st Avenue led officer to arrests Monday of Michael Anderson, 40, of Keaau, and Celeste Geraghty, 24, of Pahoa.
Police said two rings allegedly stolen in the burglary, as well as four packets of a white crystalline substance and drug paraphernalia, were recovered following the serving of search warrants at Geraghty’s home in the Ainaloa subdivision and on Anderson’s personal property.
On Tuesday evening, Geraghty was charged with burglary, theft and two counts each of promoting a dangerous drug and possessing drug paraphernalia. She was also charged with failure to appear in an unrelated case. Her bail was set at $10,500.

Anderson was charged with theft, two counts of promoting a dangerous drug, promoting a detrimental drug and two counts of drug paraphernalia. Anderson’s bail was set at $60,000.
