The Big Island Auto Club wrapped up its 2013 season over the weekend with the October Points Meet, held at the Hilo Drag Strip.
Aiea’s Brandon Murakami took the weekend’s fastest car honors. His Chevrolet Cavalier raced down the strip at 184 miles per hour in a time of 7.47 seconds.
The 2014 race schedule will be released at a later date.
