***Story updated at 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 8 to reflect a change in the kickoff time for the Kamehameha-Hawai`i / Hawai`i Preparatory Academy football game on Oct. 19***

Rivalry week in the Big Island Interscholastic Federation football season will be the only meaningful part of the next week’s games.

That’s because all four seeds in the league’s playoffs are set in both divisions based on results from this weekend’s games.

On Saturday, Kealakehe defeated Waiakea 31-14 at home to lock up the Division I second seed. The Warriors, seeded third because of the loss, will return to Waverider Stadium on Sat., Oct. 19 for the rematch. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
