Volcano Art Center will celebrate the National Park Service’s 97th birthday this Sunday by offering special discounts to patrons.

Entry to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park will be free on Sunday, Aug. 25, giving visitors the opportunity to take 5% off all purchases over $97 at the VAC Gallery, located next to the Kilauea Visitor Center in HVNP.

The gallery is open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m every day, but the celebration discount is only available on Sunday.

VAC is a non-profit organization founded in 1974 to develop, promote and perpetuate the artistic, cultural and environmental heritage of Hawaii’s people through the arts and education.
