Kealakehe Regional Park Plan Presentation on Tuesday

A presentation of the final master plan for the Kealakehe Regional Park will be held from 6 to 8 p.m.on Tuesday, July 23, at the West Hawaii Civic Center.

Components of the park proposed for a 190-acre site located between the center and the Kealakehe Police Station include complexes for soccer, football and rugby; baseball and softball; and tennis.

It is also slated to include a covered play court for basketball and volleyball, along with a central plaza featuring an amphitheater, skate park and various other recreational facilities.

Tuesday’s meeting presented by the county Department of Parks and Recreation will be held in the Community Meeting Hale (Building G) at the center located at 74-5044 Ane Keohokalole Hwy. in Kailua-Kona.
