The FEMA Reservist Program is accepting applications through Friday, March 29.

FEMA reservists are called on to deploy to disasters across the country to support communities in need, such as communities affected by Hurricane Sandy

Reservists aid survivors of disasters directly while building an extensive emergency management network and carrying out the role and responsibilities of federal response and recovery.

Reservists have the opportunity to train, gain experience, and become qualified in a specific disaster role. They also have the opportunity to expand their professional knowledge and skills, while becoming proficient in new abilities.
