Police Search for Kona Teen Missing Since Dec. 2012

Hawaiʻi Island police are searching for a 17-year-old Kona boy reported missing.
Chance Gorelangton-Kuanoni was last seen in the Kailua-Kona area on Dec. 10, 2012.

He is described as 5 feet, 5 inches tall, weighing around 150 pounds. He has brown eyes, black wavy hair and a dark complexion. Police believe the boy may be in Kona or South Kohala.

Authorities are asking that anyone with information on his whereabouts call the police department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311 or Officer Robert Sakata at 326-4646, extension 276.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
