Police are asking for the public’s help locating a missing Japanese tourist.

Hiromichi Yoshino, 51, was last seen shortly before 9 a.m. Wednesday in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park.

Yoshino’s rented vehicle, a burgundy-colored Kia four-door sedan, was found at the end of Highway 130 in Kalapana, near the lava-viewing area.
