The Kona-Kohala Chamber of Commerce will hold a new member orientation tomorrow morning form 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. at the West Hawaii Civic Center, Building G, Community Hale, in Kailua-Kona.

KKCC encourages new and existing members to attend the free event and learn how to maximize benefits available to them as Chamber members.

Chamber staff will explain how to receive a successful return on membership investment use KKCC to meet your professional objectives.

Other topics to be discussed include resources available to Chamber members and how to navigate ChamberMaster and use it to your advantage.

Currently, KKCC has more than 520 members. Membership is open to all business owners island wide.

“Anybody can join the Chamber,” said Vivian Landrum, president and CEO of KKCC.

“We represent a certain geographic region, but you don’t have to live in west Hawaii or do business in west Hawaii to be a chamber member.

“We have some members who live on the mainland and want to keep a connection to what’s going on around the island.”
