Kristian Lei Adds Some Holiday Sparkle

A beauty with an impressive voice is coming to town Friday night.

Kristian Lei will sing at the Palace Theater for a special holiday concert at 7:30 p.m., on December 21.

This recording artist has sung on stage for the Festival of the Lion King, Miss Saigon, The King and I, and Honolulu Broadway Babies.

Lei was born in the Phillippines and raised on O’ahu. She has sung internationally in Germany and Hong Kong Disneyland, and recorded a Na Hoku Hanohano Award nominated album in 2008 for her religious album, Take My Hand.

Her determination to give back to the community is evident as she founded of the non-profit organization, Honolulu Broadway Babies, which supports continuing education endeavors of the developmentally challenged through benefit concerts.

Tickets are $15 in advance and $17.50 at the door. The Palace Theater is located at 38 Haili Street in Hilo. Doors open at 7 p.m.
