While people can madly rush about for those presents and sales during the holidays there’s also children out of school needing to eat.

On December 12, join KAPA FM, Aloha United Way, Salvation Army and musician Kuana Torres Kahele as they help the island’s keiki.

The Salvation Army has a winter break feeding program that works to feed the children and collects “slippahs,” and school supplies.

From 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., the center courtyard at the Keauhou Shopping Center becomes Kahele’s stage for his Christmas album, Hilo for the Holidays.
