Old school soul is coming your way with the University of Hawai’i at Hilo’s Jazz Orchestra Rhythm and Blues Revue.

On Thursday December 6, at 7:30 p.m., enjoy live performances of rock-jazz and soul music with renditions from artists such as Duke Ellington, Luiz Bonfa, Aretha Franklin and Tower of Power.

A special tribute to the Blues Brothers will also be performed with guest vocalists Justin Chittams, Scott Wuscher, Eva Gonzalez, Chris Tomich, Lilinoe Kauahikaua, Kimo Apaka, Cristina Hussey, and Le’a Gleason; Dori Yamada choreographs.

The Jazz Orchestra is under the direction of Trever Veilleux. Performance is open seating and tickets are $7 general and $5 discounted. Tickets can be purchased online at http://hilo.hawaii.edu/depts/theatre/tickets/.
