This Saturday, June 16, the artistry of multiple-Grammy Award and Na Hoku Hanohano Award winner Jeff Peterson will grace the Big Island in an intimate concert event at the Volcano Art Center’s Niaulani Campus.

From 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., enjoy the music and melodies of this international artist and local boy.

Peterson grew up with Hawaiian music as a staple in his household. His father was a paniolo at the Haleakala Ranch, where Peterson grew to love and create beautiful slack-key and Hawaiian music.

He’s performed with Eric Clapton, Boz Scaggs, Jake Shimabukuro, Amy Hanaiali’i, The Nashville Symphony, The Honolulu Symphony and more. His style has become inclusive of classical, jazz, Hawaiian and slack-key.

This Maui-grown artist has performed throughout the United States, Thailand, Europe, Japan, China and Australia.

Presently, Peterson is on tour in China and will return to the islands in time for this event. Tickets are $27 per person and are available for purchase online at www.volcanoartcenter.org.
