Art Talk and Potluck
Randall Shiroma, sculptor, pioneer and master of terrazzo will talk story at the Donkey Mill Art Center in Holualoa on Friday May 18, at 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Terrazzo is an Italian method of using sculptural material that consists of varied sizes of marble chips set in concrete, which is cut, shaped and polished. Bring your favorite vittles and share at this free event.
Shiroma is also giving a concrete sculpture workshop on Friday May 18, to Sunday May 20, at the art center from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuition is $300 and 7 seats are still available. Shiroma will welcome and share his expertise with all levels of students.

2nd Annual Puna Music Festival

A ten-day music fest kicks off on Saturday May 19, at 8 p.m. with an intimate evening with Kuana Torres Kahele.
This incredible singer-songwriter is known for his vocals with Na Palapalai, as well as his ten Na Hoku Hanohano Award nominations in 2012.
