In Commemoration of the 2011 Earthquake and Tsunami

One year later, people worldwide remember and commemorate the catastrophic tsunami and earthquake in Japan. On March 11, the historic Palace Theater will host “The Ocean Regards Us All As One,” which combines art, dance and music for an evocative and emotional tribute.

The production will feature Art from Susumu Sakaguchi and photographer Jan E. Watson.  Featured dance artist Shizuno Nasi, Singer Rhiannon and electric cello player and vocalist Jami Sieber will headline the event.

Other dancers include Karen Masaki, Wailana Simcock, Robin Ziroli, Jenn Eng and Lucy Braham. Vocals will also feature, Elise Witt, Janiece Jaffe and the All The Way Singers.

The show starts at 2:45 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets are $25 in advance and $20 at the door. The Palace Theater box office is open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on weekdays, or call 934-7010 to purchase tickets.
