Four days after HPD officials asked for the public’s help in locating two men wanted for  various warrants, both were located and arrested on Monday morning in Na’alehu.

27-year-old Michael J. Ka’awa of Ka’u was arrested this morning on three different warrants. He is being held, with bail set at $20,600, at the Kona police cellblock. His first court appearance will take place on Tuesday.

Also found and arrested in Na’alehu was 31-year-old Daniel Abraham, who was wanted on several bench warrants. Abraham’s bail has been set at $133,000. He, like Ka’awa, is being held at the Kona police cellblock as he awaits his initial court appearance on Tuesday.
